John K. Robinson
President & Chief Executive Officer

John Robinson has an extensive background of more than 30 years in the global chemicals industry, and an outstanding track record in executive management, and hands-on P&L experience. Before joining ChemConnect as its President and CEO, John was on the Executive Committee of BP Chemicals for eight years. In that role, he held general management responsibilities for BP's $4 billion aromatics and derivatives business portfolio, and led BP's foray into e-commerce.

As Group Vice President at BP, John was a member of the executive committee of the company's chemicals businesses, with responsibility for a portfolio operating on four continents. After the merger of BP and Amoco, John oversaw the successful integration of both companies' chemicals divisions. He also led BP's digital business activities for its chemicals stream, including e-procurement.

Before joining BP, John was Vice President, Catalysts and Technology, at Sohio Chemical (acquired by BP). In his many years in the chemical industry, John has also held positions with Shell Chemical, Akzo Chemical, and Gulf Oil Chemicals (now Chevron Chemical Company). He has worked in R&D, manufacturing, sales and marketing, strategic planning, business development, and general management.

John holds a Ph.D. degree in chemistry from Rice University and an M.B.A. degree in finance from the University of Houston.

Scott Creasman
Vice President – Finance and Administration

Scott Creasman joined the ChemConnect management team following the acquisition of CheMatch in February 2002. He joined CheMatch in September 1999 as Vice President - Controller, and was promoted to Chief Accounting Officer in October 2000.

Prior to joining CheMatch he served as Vice President - Controller of Chemical Logistics Corporation from June 1998 through April 1999. From November 1997 through June 1998, Mr. Creasman was employed by U. S. Legal Support, Inc. as Vice President and Corporate Controller. From October 1996 through August 1997, he served as Controller of Brink's Security, Inc. From July 1990 through October 1996, Mr. Creasman was with Texas Eastern Products Pipeline Company, the operator of a publicly held petroleum products pipeline company serving as their Controller.

Scott received a B.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin in 1987 and is a registered Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas.

Michael Ereli
Vice President – Supply Chain Solutions

Michael Ereli joined the ChemConnect management team following the acquisition of CheMatch in February 2002. Shortly after joining CheMatch in November 1999 he was appointed Vice President, Information Technology. Previously, Michael served as the Information Technology director for Koch Energy, where he helped transform the company from an asset-focused enterprise to a commodity trading organization. Prior to that, he was a principal in the energy practice of CSC Consulting.

In addition, Michael has helped a number of energy companies, primarily in a business-development role, to build e-commerce strategies, implement gas and power trading systems, and initiate business process change. From 1984 to 1994, he worked for Andersen Consulting, ultimately serving as a manager in their global energy practice.

Michael holds a bachelor of arts degree from Harvard University.

Eric T. Paulsen
Vice President – Commodity Markets

Eric Paulsen came to ChemConnect in September 2001 with 25 years of experience in chemicals, plastics, energy, and financial markets. Previously he was a founding principal in Plassein Partners, an investment, consulting, and strategic advisory firm involved in mergers, acquisitions, and consolidation transactions in a wide range of industries, including plastics processing. The firm developed and successfully closed the formation of privately held specialty packaging company Plassein International Corp.

Before forming Plassein Partners, Eric held a number of commercial and management positions with Enron Corp, where he was involved in the grassroots development of a financial price risk management business in the petrochemical and plastics industry. Prior to joining Enron, Eric was Vice President of Marketing at CSX NGL Corp./Texas Gas Exploration, where he was responsible for worldwide supply, trading, and marketing of natural gas liquids, crude oil, and refined products.

Eric holds a B.B.A. degree in finance from Texas Tech University.
