Michael Ereli
President and CEO
Michael leads the company by drawing on his experience of more than twenty years in technology and supply chain management consulting. Since 1999, Michael has played a critical role in launching ChemConnect and developing the eCommerce platforms that supported the business.
Previously, Michael served as the Information Technology director for Koch Energy, where he led the largest web-based application at the company at that time. Prior to that, he was a principal in the energy practice of CSC Consulting, specializing in electronic commerce, supply chain management, customer relationship management and Internet-based solutions.
Michael started his career at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), helping companies in a variety of industries leverage technology for competitive advantage.
Michael holds a bachelor of arts degree from Harvard University.
Mike Sobus
Vice President – eNegotiation Solutions
Mike has more than 25 years marketing, sales and managerial experience in the manufacturing sector. Previously, Mike led Business Development and Sales for ChemConnect where he developed new markets and cultivated dramatic sales growth for ChemConnect's electronic products, as well as the supporting and consulting services related to the sourcing of chemicals and plastics. Before entering the world of e-commerce, Mike was Business Manager at the PQ Corporation, Valley Forge, PA where he led the growth of the business unit by developing new markets in Europe and Asia and commercializing new products. Mike has lectured to many industry groups and has authored several technical papers.
Mike has a Ph.D. in Chemistry from University of Maryland and a bachelor's degree from Loyola College, Baltimore and was a postdoctoral researcher at Harvard University. He also completed the MBA Management Program at Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Mike has taught at Boston College, Chesnut Hill, MA and Saint Joseph's University, Philadelphia, PA. He has authored three research papers and has been awarded three patents.
John Gonzalez
Vice President – Collaboration Hubs
John Gonzalez joined the Supply Chain Connect team in 2006 with over 10 years of experience in high technology sales. He has proven success in managing international and domestic sales teams, working with Fortune 500 accounts and providing comprehensive enterprise software solutions.
Previously, he served as an Oracle ERP Solutions Executive, with a focus on manufacturing and distribution companies. He was also the Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Decisioneering, a risk assessment tool now owned by Oracle. Key clients included Bank of America, ChevronTexaco, Halliburton, Honeywell, General Electric and Seagate Technologies. John brings with him experience in Channel Sales management, strategic business development, academic program management, and has overseen numerous corporate-wide implementations of high technology solutions.
Mr. Gonzalez began his sales management career at Dell Computers where he led their strategic VAR and ISV teams in the small/midsize business segment.
John holds a Bachelors of Arts from The University of Texas at Austin.
