Training and Customer Service

After you have successfully registered with ChemConnect’s Chalkboard, the next step is to become familiar with the trading application.

  

When you are ready for training or need additional assistance, you have two options:
 

The Chalkboard training system is identical to the live trading application, except the products and deals are “dummies.”  By training on the actual production environment, you can ensure your PC and company infrastructure is compatible with the application and production environment.  If you want to practice negotiating and no one else is logged into the training system, Chalkboard Customer Service will log on to the system and trade with you.  Just give them a call.

 

The instructions in this manual are applicable in the training system as well.  Follow the logon procedures in this manual, but a Chalkboard service representative will give you a training ID and password instead of your trading user ID for the training database.

 

ChemConnect’s Chalkboard customers are supported by a staff of trained personnel.  Our customer service representatives are available from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM CST.  Our technical support staff is available 24 hours a day.
