ChemConnect’s Chalkboard allows the parties involved in a deal to dispute a deal within 15 minutes of the trade being consummated. After a trader has disputed their deal, they should work with the other party to resolve the dispute. A disputed deal can either be marked as undisputed or deleted from the market based on the agreement reached between the two parties. in the event that both trading partners agree to eliminate the transaction. Typically, you would use the Flag A Deal option for the times you may make a mistake in either posting a deal or accepting a deal with another trading partner. In order to signify that a completed deal is “in dispute,” you can alert all the Chalkboard subscribers that this one particular deal may not be consummated in the end.
The Flag A Deal option will let the traders know that the flagged completed deal may not be an accurate reflection of the market.

Notify ChemConnect’s Chalkboard About Cancelled Deals
Even if you use the Dispute A Deal procedure, you will still need to inform your ChemConnect’s Chalkboard customer service representative if you wish to cancel a deal.
Listed below is the procedure you will want to follow if you need to cancel delete a deal:
The trader who made the error must click on the Dispute A Deal icon to alert the Chalkboard market that there may be a deal that is not really completed
Once a deal is completed, you will get a confirmation of the deal pop-up on your computer screen with the counter party’s contact information
The trader who made the error and is disputing the deal must take responsibility and contact the counter party and explain the circumstances of the mistake
The trader who made the error needs to contact a Chalkboard customer service representative immediately after contacting the counter party in order to delete the completed transaction from the trading market
